Great thread idea Blade! I am looking forward to looking through several of the links that I have never visited.

I have used Lexis Nexxus, which is a paid subscription legal database, to access a lot of good information. If you are a university student, your school probably has a subscription.

Ivy - you should write a book. While I don't always agree with you (and I am probably wrong), your knowledge of LCN and OC is second to none. I am confidant you would do a terrific job with any topic you choose. I would love to read a good book on the Pizza Connection, the Gas Tax Scam or the Windows Case. These topics really do not have a dedicated book that probes them in depth.

I am just curious, but has anyone ever filed a FoI (Freedom of Information) to get LCN info that is not in the public domain? I have given it some thought, but have never taken the time. I would love to read (and hear tape recordings) information that law enforcement has collected.

Best way to catch the smart ones? Get an idiot working for them.
