Tony has been with the Connecticut Gambinos forever. He was very close to Tommy DeBrizzi at one time, and was made by Gotti shortly after DeBrizzi's murder (I wonder what happened there? whistle).

Anyway, he specialized in the twin mob staples of gambling and shylocking. Ran card games with the Greeks up in Stamford and Norwalk, and had a ton of money on the street as well. Between Megale and Nick Melia alone, the Connecticut Gambinos must have had well over a couple million on the street back in the '80s and '90s.

Not sure what his role will be when he's released, but just the fact that he put so much trust into Greg DePalma---whose own lack of good judgement was legendary---will probably keep him out of the top tier Gambino leadership. But that's just my opinion.
