My daughter is appearing in her high school's production of "Anything Goes". In one of the numbers, "You're The Top", there's a line "You're the nose on the great Durante," and I asked her if she had any clue what it meant. She had no idea.

(CNN) – Televangelist Pat Robertson is raising eyebrows, and cheers from activists who are usually his opponents on political issues, by calling for the legalization of marijuana.

“I really believe we should treat marijuana the way we treat beverage alcohol,” Robertson told The New York Times on Wednesday. “I’ve never used marijuana and I don’t intend to, but it’s just one of those things that I think: this war on drugs just hasn’t succeeded.”

The comments came after Robertson affirmed his support for marijuana decriminalization – which he had voiced in 2010 – on his TV show, “The 700 Club,” last week.

So with the warm weather lately i decided it was time to get the first mow of the lawns in this year earlier.

My bloody lawn mower blew up!!!!! Fired it up, something went bang, blew all the electric in the house, flame shot out the back of the control panel and then it sat there smoking like it had just had sex


Time for a new lawn mower i reckon

I really like Daylight Savings Time, but I want my hour back. It seems I'm an hour behind everything I do the last two days.

I always find it funny that our better halves secretly like to see us get physically hurt in some way. Don't get me wrong - I'm not talking about going through the windshield stuff, I mean a good hammer hit to the thumb, stub of a bare toe, finger pinched in something, etc... ladies?

I went to visit my youngest daughter yeasterday. She showed me her engagement ring. Wow! I wish I had just one of the diamonds in it. However, she told me that it wasn't an engagement ring; it was an I'll think about getting engaged to you ring. God, if the ring he gave her is any indication, if she actually does get engaged, they'll have to deliver that ring in a truck.
