I don't know how i missed this but here i am, better late than never! The Scots are working themselves into a frenzy over this at the moment but i just can't work it out.I understand they want to be Scottish first and foremost, they have their own parliament and such, but why not stay with us and still be Scottish first and British second? I don't see what they would gain by being on their own, whether they like it or not England has all the political and financial clout. We also subsidise them by sending their kids to university for nothing and prescriptions for their medicines. I wonder how keen they are for independence when they are paying 9 grand a year to send their kids to college...in England
However as i have often said here, my whole family is Scottish and i live not a kick in the arse away from the border and i know how passionate they are about it just now, so who knows? We will just have to wait and see!
