to answer afsaneh's and ltz's question: I have VERY bad eyes so when I am cutting parts of the pieces I hold the piece about 8-10 inches away from face so I can see it perfectly. I have NEVER been startled to the point where my hand flinched THAT much, but there is a first for everything lol

edit: I cut AWAY from my face- I'm not that stupid lol

You know, DMC, there's this new invention that might be of use to you... they're two pieces of glass or plastic or polycarbonate, and they're set in frames that sit on the bridge of your nose, so they're right in front of your eyes.

Now here comes the remarkable part. These pieces of glass, plastic, or polycarbonate (called "lenses") are actually specifically made to make up for what you cannot see!!

There's another type called "contact lenses," but it might be too soon to talk about that. We'll save that for the next lesson. (I don't want to scare you!)

I recently lost my glasses (3 weeks ago) and money is very tight right now so after christmas I will replace them, but until then lol

I'd go in the chat room if I could but for some reason I cannot explain everytime I get in my computer crashes and restarts. Does not make sense.

I'm done with school for the semester, WOO HOO! I took my final in about 30 mins today. I couldn't believe that I got done so quickly with it & I already packed for my trip to New York tomorrow. Now I just have to wait until Friday to get my final grades online. Also, if anyone is not busy on Saturday morning, I encourage you to turn on ESPN 2 (the deuce) to watch my university play in the Division III championship title game. It's the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (the school I go to) against Linfield in Salem, VA. The game starts at 11 am EST!

Awesome Irishman, I finish tomorrow but with a ton of assignments to do for January. Also got an exam tomorrow if I it's worth me turning up.

Well I just got another grade, it was an A (in 1 of the 2 classes I thought would be my toughest this semester). So now I'm at 2 A's and 1 B with 3 classes left!

I made this great pasta with salmon for lunch, and the whole house still smells like garlic. Lunch was at like 11:45, and it's now 4:11. That's some strong stuff!!!

It is either me or Zia Part, cause she smells like garlic! See. It happened again.

I love the smell of garlic. Everytime I make my pasta sauce, just browning off the garlic, makes the whole house smell good.

I remember as a kid, if my mom was making it, she'd only be at the beginning stages and if I had friends over, they would all comment, "what smells so good."

Of course, a day later, when you still smell it, it might be a little much.

Not to mention my dad's favorite comment: "Garlic is good for you. It cleans out your blood."

Your dad's right. Garlic is a true panacea. The only trouble is when it comes to kiss someone. Unless you cook pasta for him/her. In this case, nobody will smell the difference.

Let me ask you something. One very easy, yet very good sauce my mother, and now myself make and have with steak, is a tomato sauce (my mom would can her own tomatoes, but I usually buy the stewed tomatoes ).Anyway, it's not cooked. Cloves of raw garlic, the tomatoes, basil, and a touch of olive oil. We dip our steak into this sauce. Now, my spelling I know is way off, so I'll spell it like it sounds:
og-ya. Is this familiar to you at all????

We wouldn't go anywhere the day we'd have that. It taste great, but left that garlic taste in your mouth all day. Of course, depending on how strong you made it.

I got another grade in, an A in Psychology of Coaching. That brings the total to 3 A's and 1 B. Only 2 more grades to go! Going to New York today so I'll talk to you guys either later tonight or sometime tomorrow.

I spent two and half hours this morning queuing to get a ticket for the Chelsea V Scunthorpe 3rd round FA cup game. Thought I was going to miss my exam. Luckily I didn't though. Woohoo, finished until January.
