Off-topic, but I enjoyed THE MUPPETS. "Man or Muppet" should win.

EDIT it does!

EDIT 2 - from deadline:

Quote:
I hear there’s a Nipplegate controversy raging. (“Did anyone mention Jennifer Lopez’ nipple hanging out?” asks one of my peanut gallery gals watching the Oscars with 13 gay guys.)

EDIT 3 - another Ellen JCP ad. Santorum is using his barf bucket well tonight.

How many script Oscars has Payne won?

EDIT - only 2? Wow. I forgot ELECTION didn't win. (Maybe it should have?)

EDIt 2 - Woody Allen wins, and he's not there of course.

Especially apparent when she's around Brad Pitt, who's aging well. (TMZ should ask: Genes or Docs?)

EDIT 2 - Werner Herzog cameo! Awesome.

EDIT 3 - jesus Warren Beatty looks old.

EDIT 4 - Fun Fact: Adam Sandler scored a record 11 Razzie nominations (the bad movie Oscars) for the horrendous looking JACK & JILL.

Okay should be some "good" awards coming up. whistle

RR, everybody looks old to me. It's funny how I can say "geez they've age, but of course I haven't. lol It's been a while since I've seen Warren Beatty but yea and Michael Douglas too. Though he did suffer thru cancer and I'm sure that took it's toll. And, Nick Nolte too looks really aged.

So easy to be critical sitting here behind my computer. LOL

Touche.

At least Douglas still works, even while fighting cancer. Beatty's not done movies since the Clinton Administration. What's his excuse?

(Dating Madonna is detriment to your long-term health apparently. Sean Penn, you need a medical check-up.)

Off-topic, but he was good in WARRIOR. That was a decent picture, unfortunately dismissed because people (wrongly) dismissed it as THE FIGHTER meets MMA.

EDIT - does anybody ever see these live action shorts? Their only value to the audience is tie-breaker at office pool Oscar bets.

No no, Clooney is like Prince: They don't age, but the rest of us do.

EDIT - Scientists have discovered that 90-95% of Oscar telecast jokes SUCK.

Does anyone see these short films? confused Seriously, I remember way back when I was young (yes that long ago), you'd go to a movie and there was always a short film before the movie. I use to hate them as a kid. When/where do they show these short films now if not at a theater?
