No I keep up with my checkbook as soon as I'm done with a transaction. However there was a check that I forgot to account for, plus some of my debit transactions hadn't been represented on my bank statement as of the 10th of the month. So my balance & the balance that my bank gave me as of hte 10th were WAY off. So I had to figure out what the problem was & I'm glad to say I did. I accounted for the check & 2 transactions hadn't gone through yet.
Like 2 minutes of your time is gonna kill you every time you write a check. It's just one more step. It's better than spending an hour, after like a week or two.
