Off-topic, but am I the only one who's noticed how the GOP presidential field has rarely (if ever) mentioned his name on the stump or in debates?
It was in summer '08 that the unemployment rate started to climb. It was also in '08 that the budget deficit reached a record high. It was also that year that TARP emerged.
