Sunny and in the mid 80s. Absolutely dreadful winter weather...

LOL XDCX, rained all night and the wind was blowing in the 60 mph range, still blowing today, and now snow pellets and overcast. This weather is crazier than I am LOL !

I know, isn't it great? Especially on days like this in mid winter, you just gotta say, "nothing beats Southern California weather."

Today, a tad cooler but absolutely beautiful, clear and sunny. I hear tomorrow the winds are suppose to kick in though.

Yesterday, South Jersey was a comfy 62 degrees. At 5pm I went for a short jog in shorts and a thin long sleeve shirt. Today its raining, windy, still warm, but Frosty's wind is coming our way. Very windy weekend ahead with temps in the 40s.

27 with light snow but no wind, lol, it just left on its own. Sun is trying to peak through but cool even in it.

23 wind is blowing 25-35- mph sun is out chance of snow coming in LOL I love this chance of stuff these weather forcasters say, there is a chance of sun, wind, rain, snow, and maybe your death today, there is a chance ! LMAO !

45 degrees today. Crystal clear, a little wind. Tonight the 1/4 moon is lying on its back; Venus down below and Jupiter to the left. ....Hmmmmm, sounds like it should be a song.

MC, getting colder out down to 6 above, clear sky stars, but damm cold. When you make that song send me a tape ! (wink) Maybe we can make a buck or two ! LOL !

Frosty , as it is out LOL !

Here in Brooklyn (aka Tessio Territory - "Where you'll be safe." ), the sky is clear with a fragment of a moon and stars visible on a chilly night. Gonna get pretty cold tonight, so they say.

The only problem is, since I live in an urban area with many street lights, I keep trying to block them out with my hat (black baseball cap) or my hands so more stars are visible.

I think back to the days, many years ago, when I was living high on a hill on the south side of Syracuse back when everything was still rural. The air was freezing, but you could see thousands of stars on those clear nights. A few beers (Genesee swill, the local panther piss) and you'd pretty much forget where you were; you'd just stare at the beautiful starscape along with the woman next to you whose waist, hopefully, you'd have your arm around.

And so, to this day, I'm a sucker for clear, moonlit starry nights (throw in the appropriate Don McLean song for good measure ).

With the wind blowing and the snow starting that ought to be fun. LOL

61? Chilly....I'd take that all year. This summer when you hit 100+ you'll be thinking about chilly. It's funny how we get used to a climate. I went to college in Oswego, NY., right on Lake Ontario. Winds 50 mph, temps 0. A friend lived in Watertown, NY...worse than Oswego....he loved it. F that. give me chilly 61.

I was in overcoat, gloves, and hat.

LMAO, I had to put on my peter heater, got to go to the store down to 7 and the wind is still blowing ! No snow , hope we get a foot of good wet snow, and the wind quits. But you know about wishing in one hand and crap in the other and see which fills up faster ! Be Safe and Stay Warm !

Oli, at 61 the beach folks in South Jersey would be truckin' their beach chairs down by the ocean. At 45 degree they are wearing shorts and a T-shirt....maybe a Phillies hat.

17 above , overcast, airbase closed due to winter storm warning coming in early this afternoon, schools are shutting down at noon. Got to the gym this am , so bring it on. Hope it is good and wet snow ! They are talking about 17" in spots in North Dakota .

Totally Sweet nice wet snow coming down ! So very pretty and White , so pure almost angelic, and wet ! I hope it continues , bring it on good Lord !

Can remember when my daughter and I used to make snow angles ! Lone time ago. It was fun , no wind yet LOL ! It is coming down like it should in SD ! Wish you all were here !

Got about 5 " so far , of white diamonds, minus Lis Taylor LOL ! Went out and took it off my deck , nice and warm and coming down softly ! In past years have set in a hot tub , with the pine trees around and looking at the beautiful sky, and a nice looking lady next to me enjoying a nice glass of wine ! Life is good , for clean moments like these !

There is something peaceful and serene about a snowfall and the hours after it stops; especially if there is no wind.

We're getting rain today. Frosty's snowfall is staying well north....like upstate New York, Pocono Mtns in PA.

Frosty's snowfall is gone LOL ! Got up this morning and alittle here and alittle there, but very little. It is 37 degrees and sun is shinning , warm beautiful day ! No wind. MC if you would like to send some of that rain I will take it ! LOL

We've had exceptionally warm and dry January and February up here in the High Desert (5,300 feet), with many daily highs in the low 60's and nighttime lows in the low 30's (50's and 20's is usual for this time of year). Yesterday we had 1-3" of snow. I was taught in first grade that water freezes at 32 degrees. What they didn't tell me is that snow falls--and sticks--here at 43 degrees. Nearly all gone today.
