Pulp Fiction, for a while, was my #1 movie and along with The Godfather and Scarface, was what got me into classic films. All I can say is that I've found 7 films I like more than it.

He just saw a film that he thought was beter which then Demoted "Pulp Fiction". Thats how it goes...

In my case, Pulp doesnt have a chance in Hell to make my Top 10, anytime soon...

Pulp Fiction was your number one? I think I remember seeing you say that a little while back. Anyhow, I've seen tons of films after Pulp Fiction but none have beaten it so far. Fight Club tied with it, but nothing's beat it. wink

And Mike -- I know how it goes, I was joking around with 'em, bud.

I'm sorry Anthony, I like Pulp Fiction, but I don't love it. I like Jackie Brown & Kill Bill more for just Tarantino flicks. I LOVE Samuel L. Jackson & Travolta in it, but when he switches to Bruce Willis & Ving Rhames (and I LOVE Bruce Willis) I just start to loss interest in the movie. I don't know why. There's something about the movie that doesn't strick me as great, but that's just me. I'm not saying your wrong or anything like that. What do you love so much about it? For me it's Jules, Jimmy, and The Wolf!

The Gold Watch story with Butch and Marsellus is actually my favorite part! I just love the unpredictability of it. Everytime I watch the movie, it's like it's for the first time. Every single actor nails his role absolutely perfectly; the story is original, the dialogue is witty and sharp... Everything about the film is incredibly perfect and flawless. In my opinion, anyhow. It's number one on my list of favorites, and definately in the top five for best.

I'm way over 10, but they're in 2 categories, at least. By the way, I'm sure I'm missing quite a few, but this is most of them... and like the very first post said, these aren't what I consider the best, they're just my favorites. You know, the ones I can watch over and over again. Oh, and they're alphabetical order, not preference.

More Serious:
-12 Angry Men
-Amarcord
-A Streetcar Named Desire
-Casablanca
-Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
-Cinema Paradiso
-Cool Hand Luke
-Il Postino
-Rope
-Rounders
-Strangers on a Train
-Tango (1998)
-The Godfather 1&2
-The Hustler
-The Magnificent Seven
-The Man With the Golden Arm
-The Outsiders
-The Professional
-Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

Not-So-Serious:
-A Mighty Wind
-Bells are Ringing
-Born Yesterday
-Carefree
-Charade
-Clueless wink
-Dazed and Confused
-Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
-Harvey
-Houseboat
-Lover Come Back
-My Favorite Wife
-Nueve Reinas
-Ocean's Eleven (Both versions)
-Sabrina (The original w/ Bogart)
-Shall We Dance (Fred Astaire, not J.Lo!)
-Sixteen Candles
-Singin' in the Rain
-Snatch
-That Touch of Mink
-The Odd Couple
-The Philadelphia Story

Fantastic list there Thug! smile Almost as juicy as mine. tongue

Mick
Your list isn't that bad, either! You can rarely go wrong with Scorsese, Lynch, Godard, and to a lesser extent, Coppola. I'm not a big Gladiator fan, but it was pretty entertaining.

Mike, I'm so glad to see Greed in somebody else's top 10, and especially at the high spot it is in!
