Watched a video of Mayweather v. Ortiz the other night. Ortiz more than held his own for the first three rounds. Then Floyd started battering him. Ortiz deliberately head-butted him. Ref took a point away from Ortiz, then called time in. Ortiz tried to shake gloves with Floyd, but while the ref was looking the other way, Floyd clocked Ortiz with a terrific combo--and lights out. Perfectly legal: defend yourself at all times.

After the fight, Larry Merchant of HBO was hounding Floyd to explain himself. After a while, Floyd told Merchant he never gave him a fair shake, and that he was "s**t." Merchant replied, "If I were fifty years younger, I'd kick your ass!"
