Morello was the boss of bosses at the time when he was sent to prison in 1910. When he was released in 1920, he found his gang reduced to a very few members. Most of them had been killed or had joined other Mafia groups.
Morello did also find himself being condemned to death by the new boss of bosses, Tata D´Aquila for some reason unkown.
Together with a few loyal followers, he joined the Joe Masseria group which of course later became the Genovese Crime Family.
