What I am suggesting is that IF Sal did became the boss of the Montreal Family/Sixth Family, would he still answer to guys in New York or would guys like Vinny TV, Graziano, Santoro, Asaro answered to Sal, who was the boss or acting boss of the Bonanno Family before he was deported by the US government. Anyhow, we got a very interesting situation here.

I assume it would be like Joe Bonanno or Lucky Luciano in exile who held some clout but no real power.
