That area of Brooklyn, Flatbush, Canarsie where the crew terrorized, do no Italians live there now? Or do mafia still operate there?
Flatbush and East Flatbush is mostly a black neigborhood. immigrants from the West Indies - Carribeans, Jamaicans, etc. Canarsie's very mixed; Definitely still some italians there but it's not a stronghold/enclave. It's been Corrozo (Gambino) 'territory' - even though I think that crew all lives out on Long Island or somewhere else.
