The press always love to talk about a possible war. But there's really nothing to fight over. The Patriarca's presence in Connecticut seems to be virtually gone. And it's looking to be that way soon here in Providence too. Which is why the leadership is now back in Boston where the family has the most members left.

This shrinking of the scope (in terms of territory) of the families has happened to all of them. Including New York. Which is why one shouldn't expect to see any of the NY families try to "move in" to Providence. Just like they haven't "moved in" to Pittsburgh.
