I think there has always been only one family, first headed by the Cotronis, then the Rizzutos, and now again by the Cotronis or their allies.

As for Aruba, Im not sure if claims that they (the Cun.trera/Carauna) really did "own 40 to 60%" of the island during the early 90's, but they no doubt have a strong base there.
