Diana Ross has the rep of being Bitchy/bossy. In '82 or '83 I was on the Harlem side of Central Park and two of my friends and I saw Diana. My female friend called out "MISS ROSS!" She turned around with a big smile.

I'd seen and met many "stars" in NY (not a good one like PLaw) and I never choked. But Diana Ross's big smile had star quality. She was checking out locations for her free concert, and I managed to make her laugh (reference to the "Projects" where she grew up).

She even pulled down her limo window and waved. Very Nice. She was the complete antithesis of "bitch".
