In the Cubs 2003 playoff game against the Marlins he tried to catch a home run ball that Moises Alou was trying to catch also and kept Alou from catching it wnd the Marlins went on to win the series and pennant. Bartman ended up having to receive police protection for a time to insulate him from irate Cubs fans.
