I dont know if youve seen the show Brotherhood seasons 1-3 john fiore who played (Gigi Cestone) plays Providence based new england mob boss Alphonse Nozzoli and the same actor that plays Mikey Palmice Plays the mayor of Providence in the same show Does the show have more Italian mafia elements? The mafia element features in all seasons but becomes more involved later on. The Irish Caffee/Cork crew of Brotherhood has always operated independant but "below" the Italians in the series, and for the most part respect a truce of sorts (which does however enrage Mike Caffee, the crazy Irish bastard who cant understand why his five or six man crew couldn't stand up to Nazolli and the whole RI mob) Jason Isaacs does a great turn as Mike. And his brother Tommy is played by Australian actor Jason Clarke, in another great role. Im not 100% Nicky but I think Clarke is from Perth as well. Its different from Soprano's, but a great series. Its problem was never critical response; its almost universally praised, its just never picked up those Nielsen Ratings.

On topic but... A couple of those Camorra guys (and the girl) from Series 2, as well as Furio in later series. Little Allie Boy Barese (there is that small clip of him meeting Tony later, and he looks like he'd aged since his cousin went away) And yeah Gigi Cestone (incidentally, John Fiore does a great job as Al Nazolli in Brotherhood; a totally different kind of mobster but; instead of the stoic, steadfast and reliable capo Gigi, Nazolli, a boss, is kind of arrogant, cocky and, well, in love with himself a bit) Corky Caporale, Chrissies "associate",
Generally though, I liked how characters that in earlier episodes were more or less background came to the fore in later ones, and how guys were always unexepectedly always either out or in, some stars rising and others burning out.

I would have liked to see more of meadow if you know what i mean.. I know what you mean. Mmmm....Jaimie Lynn Sigler. Er. DeScalia. Whatever. Im gonna go out on a bit of a limb here...you guys know that intro scene in either series five or six (dammit, brain...not function) where Meadow is in her underwear dancing for Finn in their bed-room? If you puase it at the right time you can see the outline of her hoo-ha. Swear to God. Obviously, its best to do it without your partner/signif.othr in the room. Especially since it may take a few attempts to get just the right frame.
