In a comment on the film, FFC says that first he resisted casting Talia Shire because she was !"too beautiful". The reason behind that: Any young man would like to marry a beautiful girl. But the idea was that the Carlo character would have to sacrifice something in order to marry a rich girl, and that is beauty. But do you guys think that Talia was that beautiful in GF? Somehow I liked her look best in GF3.
