my .02 just opinion:

I highly doubt, again just opinion, that Massino has any sort of deal besides the one we all know about; life in jail, while the government stays away from some of his wife and mother's assets. I can't see him leaving prison alive.

As far as him and Vitale go I dont think they were that great of friends to begin with before they both flipped. My opinion/guess based on human nature is that Vitale probably despised and hated Massino for a long time. It's only human nature; any man is going to resent the guy nailing his sister, even if its just a little. And to have to take orders from that guy on top of it? Orders which lead to you facing life in prison? Forget about it.
