Cena is in his hometown, and the ice cream bars gets a louder crowd pop.

I'm loving this Smarks (Punk) versus Marks (Cena) feud, and my God didn't Punk knock it out of the park with that Boston analogy? "You're not an underdog anymore, you're a dynasty! You're the New York Yankees!"

Am I the only one who sees history repeating itself on Sunday, the booking very obvious?

I feel like Cena should have just stayed out of the mix a bit last night because whenever he came out it became about story. It became about him telling everyone that Punk has to beat him at MITB, right after Punk just got through talking to all the people out there in the world who know that wrestling is booked. So Punk makes accusations that the people who succeed, like Cena, get the titles because they're the biggest ass-kissers and Cena comes out and tries to tell everyone, who knows better, that he got the belt because he earned it. Well, what does earning it mean in a fake sport? Wouldn't it mean that...you might be the biggest ass-kisser? Cena bringing up the names of all the legendary wrestlers he's beaten is a different argument for a much different crowd. Because being booked to go over someone doesn't mean you're better than them.

And the whole thing last night where Cena tried to make it all about the fans? About how Punk was abandoning the fans? About how Dwayne abandoned the fans? Well, even the f***ing fans weren't having that. Not even the fans in Cena's hometown were falling into that time-honored, cheap pop rebuttal. Because Punk and Cena were talking on different wavelengths. Different frequencies.

Because we all know that the WWE isn't the only place to see wrestling. How could Punk betray the fans by leaving when anyone who's a fan can check Punk out at independent shows? I thought we'd broken the wall down a little bit a few weeks ago. There are other places to wrestle. Basically, I think we can all agree that the entire skit was awesome until Cena came out. You could feel the energy-suck. Because everyone knew he was coming out to say more of the same hot garbage he said at the top of the show. Plus, Cena tried to tell everyone that he hated Vince too! What the what now? Punk's whole point was that Cena was Vince. Cena can't distance himself from Vince because they both represent the same thing. The same establishment. Cena simply wasn't the dour rebel he painted himself out to be last week on RAW when he threatened to quit. And so Cena did what all faces do when they're called out on their bulls***. He punched Punk in the face. Proving everything about everything that ever needed proving. Because when babyfaces are dead wrong, they do "their talking in the ring" where they get booked to go over the heel.

Good Humor, the company that made the original ice cream bars, has been bombarded over the last two days with requests for the bars and an explanation on why they were discontinued.

WWE star C.M. Punk is featured in a GQ interview and expressed frustration with his pushes being scaled back regardless of how much he gets over. "I hear a lot of people compare what I did three weeks ago to Stone Cold Steve Austin," Punk said. "Everyone's just waiting for that next polarizing character. I think that's why this worked. I've been saying I'm that guy for five years. Different people are afforded different opportunities.

"I've been given some awesome opportunities, and I feel that I've always knocked them out of the park. But I've always been scaled back after that. This time, the genesis of it is that I'm leaving. I'm done. I'm tired. "What are they going to do, fire me?" That's been my attitude for months and months now. That finally resonated through the television screen. And that's something that everyone in this economic world can 100% relate to."

Punk also detailed how things could be better in WWE. "A lot of the people who are in charge—and this isn't a negative thing—are old," Punk said. "They have a wealth of experience, yes, but there's no youth that's involved in anything. The youngest people there are all performers. I don't envy their job, trying to get inside somebody's head and figure out who they are and what their character is. It's a nerve-racking thing when you first get there.

"If you're like me, this was your dream job; you worked 13 years to get to where you are. The normal course of action is mouth shut, eyes and ears open, not stepping on toes. But that's how you get ahead. A squeaky wheel gets the grease. If something sucks, I've always been completely vocal about it, and I've been punished many, many times because of that. But I don't think I'd be in the spot I'm in right now if I wasn't me. I've always just been me.

"I don't think we should be looking externally for talent; there's plenty of guys and girls in house that are super-talented that we don't do enough with. A guy like Evan Bourne, who's a fantastic high-flyer, does the most fantastic stuff on the roster. I could go on: Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, Beth Phoenix.

"There's Nattie Neidhart, Tyson Kidd. Tyson Kidd is a fantastic wrestler, maybe not the greatest promo. So let's help him. Let's teach him to get better instead of signing someone from Europe who failed at Euro football. I could talk about this forever."

Punk also said the he doesn't intend to wrestle right after his contract expires. "I just want to sit on my couch," Punk said. He said he wants to have a summer vacation and not do anything for three months. He also stated that he is financially secure and doesn't have to work.

Punk has seemingly made his first non-WWE appearance in wrestling since he took the WWE Championship with him on his way out of the WWE. According to Jimmy Jacobs and the photo that accompanies this post, CM Punk cut a promo in-front of the AAW fans tonight. I’ll update this post as more news comes in, but for right now… It’s cool to see/hear.
