They are closing the 405 freeway next week for a couple days to add a lane or widen the road or whatever. Fortunately I don't use this freeway but it's gotta be the busiest or at least one of the busiest freeways in SoCal. It is constantly busy and I understand 5:00 traffic is a daily horror. That along with the fact that most Californians don't know how to drive has a potential nightmare scenario. They are calling it "Carmageddon." Why they even have Erik Estrada doing public service announcements telling people to avoid the freeway and "stay home."
