If some reckless idiotic driver killed my son and then taunted me about it afterwards, I'd probably want him dead. You wonder how sick John Favara may or may not have been.
I have to agree with Vinny here. I can empathize with the son and all but the guy was driving recklessly. Think of how you would feel if it was your son, brother or father who was killed by a reckless driver before you judge the Gotti's.
Before you praise the gotti's you gotta remember that the gotti's are the only ones who claim that he was drunk and driving reckless.
