It really doesn't matter, pb. As I alluded to in a post back, the forces of Islamism are still winning and have been winning since Bin Laden began attacking the West 20 years ago. The revolution in Egypt is actually a step back from free market capitalism; Lebanon is back under Iran's thumb; Pakistan’s security services are linked to the Islamist Taliban movement entrenched in the North along with their Al Qaeda allies; Islamists view King Abdullah in Jordan as an illegitimate Western puppet; The Saudi and other royal families are totally unacceptable to Islamists who see them as rich elites ruling poor masses; and when we leave Afghanistan and Iraq (as the liberals wish us to do) Pro-Iranian Islamist forces are likely to take hold.
