MSNBC is announcing that the President will be making a surprise (and supposedly HUGE) announcement at approximately 7:30 (9:30 EST). They are speculating it's something to do with Afghanistan. You know it's a surprise cause the media is scrambling.

Boy all the anchors are going nuts. NOBODY knows what it's about but all agree that it's unusual and they assume it's a big announcement. The poor lady anchor lost some phone connection with some General and was kind of lost. She announces....."Just to reiterate, we don't know what's going on."

Blogs are afire.....Did they capture OBL, is he ending one of the wars? And, of course the Right is asking "Is he gonna resign?"

I still chuckle when I remember his speech after the release of long form birth certificate. "I accomplished something nobody had before and I'm very proud of myself!" as if it was walking on the moon. What a joke he is.

But I thought that Obama was a secret radical Muslim sympathizer who hated America. Hmm.

I think the "long form" birth certificate Trump and the other nutjobs were calling for and got, shut him up. Of course that and the smackdown Trump got at the WHCD. Hopefully it's all history.

PHOENIX – Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer announced Monday she will ask the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a ruling that put the most controversial parts of the state's immigration enforcement law on hold.

The planned appeal to the high court comes after Brewer lost an initial appeal April 11, when a three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals refused to reverse a lower court's order that prevented key parts of the law from being enforced.

Attorney General Tom Horne said going directly to the Supreme Court and skipping a possible second appeal to the 9th Circuit will save time in resolving the case, while Brewer said she is confident "Arizona will prevail in its fight to protect its citizens."

The state must file the appeal by a July 11 deadline, the two Republican elected officials said. The Supreme Court has discretion on whether to hear the appeal on the lower court's order.

"It seems like this is a big enough national issue that it will ultimately be determined by the United States Supreme Court," Horne said.

Is anyone watching the clips from Obama's Ireland visit? Evidently his great-great-great grandfather was a shoemaker in a small Irish village consisting of only few hundred people. The people gave him a warm welcome where he met distant relatives and went to an Irish Pub. When I think Irish Presidents, I think JFK. LOL Didn't give really know that Obama was part Irish.
