Following Nick Cassavetes's departure, Lindsay Lohan is also out... for the time being.
The local news station (which is from Lohan's hometown) is reporting that Lohan signed on as Junior Gotti's wife in this movie.
Kind of a consolation prize, no? The Vicki Gotti part has to be much bigger, considering she's supposedly in on the production.
As far as the film, I'll believe it when I see it. The whole thing still seems a little off to me. Between that silly press conference and the director dropping out just a few days later, combined with the supposed lack of financing, I just think this film will be plagued with production problems.
Such films usually end up with limited distribution or a straight-to-dvd release. To me it seems on par with "A Tale of Two Pizzas," or "Meet the Mobsters."
Time will tell.
