Charlie Sheen left the stage 30 minutes early at his show in New York on Friday night after audience members heckled him throughout the performance.

The former "Two and a Half Men" star is currently travelling the U.S. with his My Violent Torpedo Of Truth/Death Is Not An Option tour.

The performances have received mixed reactions from audiences, and the crowd at Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall was less than impressed with Sheen, according to TMZ.com.

During the show, Sheen received boos from the audience after declaring he had quit drugs. The actor went on to fuel his public war of words with "Two and a Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre by daring the TV boss to join him onstage at the venue on Sunday. He said, "(Let's) work this s--- out. Of course I want my job back man!"

"Generosity. That was my first mistake."
"Experience must be our only guide; reason may mislead us."
"Instagram is Twitter for people who can't read."
