Thanks mang! I go for my test in about 4 days. It's pretty scary but I have been practicing a ton.

I was scared shitless when I went -- especially after I found out that the red-headed lady I was getting almost never passed anyone their first try!! I did not look forward to the K-Turn at all. Nor was I was all that confident at the time. (In drivers Ed I blew right through a stop sign )

BUT - even with that "nasty woman" I passed with flying colors my first time! Just relax, and you'll hopefully do fine! It's not the end of the world if you have to go back and try it again. Just try to be confident and relaxed. And use your blinkers.

Thanks Mig! I am very nervous about paralell parking too. I drove half way here to Phoenix but highways are'nt really that hard. Besides even if I do fail my first time I still get it way sooner than all of my friends.

Do they have you do freeway driving for the test? They never use to here, but now I hear they will take you on the freeway, even during rush hour.

If you've had a lot of road experience, which it sounds like you have, you should do just fine. Everyone is nervous when they take the road test. Good luck and let us know how you do ok.

Oh, and BTW, a belated Happy Birthday and how was Vegas? Did you freeze your a** off?

There is no 5 or 6 lane parking anywhere else.

Actually, I didn't have to go on the freeway during the test. Just during the behind-the-wheel part of driving school. During the test, I had to drive about 3 blocks on each side around the DMV.

TIS, I don't think they take you on the freeway and they mostly stay around the place where you go to take it. Las Vegas was alright but it was pretty damn cold. Nice change from Canada though.
