I think well all have often stood in the express lane, behind the person who has way past the minimum number of items. That can be very very annoying. ' Oh, and what about check writers? Doesn't happen often, but doesn't that seem so "old school." today?
Equally annoying is when you have one or two items and there is no express lane. I must admit though, every now and then a nice person will let me go ahead. I try to do likewise when I see someone with just a couple items.
Anyway, as long as there are signs indicating if it's express I'd have no problem. I just think it'd be nice to have both regular and express lanes.
