I still don't understand why it is even an issue. Some stupid internet rumor run wild and then some radical partisans won't let it go. As for the shoe being on the other foot - I don't recall any other President having this as an issue, so the comparison is moot. Perhaps when we find out that Elvis and JFK are actually alive and living on a South Pacific island the nut cases will be distracted enough to let it go.
