Weather up here in the High Desert is really wacky:

Snow started falling yesterday morning when the temp was 39.7. By 11:30, when temp dropped to 37.2, it started accumulating on the roads. By 1 p.m., same temp, it was melting on blacktop, and by 5 p.m., it was completely gone on blacktop. But at 8 p.m., with temp at 36.5, it started accumulating big-time. Woke up this morning to a foot of snow, and it’s still falling. Temp will drop to 15 tonite, meaning plenty of ice. Since we’re on the east side of our street, we’ll probably have it for month.

And people back East think all of Arizona is 117 degrees all the time...
