I don't know if that is just because (IMHO) so much new music is crap or if it is because of internet downloads or media oversaturation but it seems like just a few years ago top worldwide sellers would have been in the 8-12 million range. I seem to remember really popular bands-even ones I didn't like or think were that good being able to get 4-5 million units sold in the US alone.

Is that accurate?

"When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives."
Winter is Coming

Now this is the Law of the Jungleā€”as old and as true as the sky; And the wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die.
As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk, the Law runneth forward and back; For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.
