In part. The numbers on demographics won't be out until Jan-Feb 2011 but the population growth was greatest in states where the Hispanic population was greatest. But that doesn't necessarily mean it was just immigration (legal or illegal). It's also births and transfers.
But since the Census doesn't distinguish between citizens and non-citizens that has been a sore spot for some states that are losing population. A few years back one of our republican congresswomen up here started a fuss about requiring the Census only to count citizens.
