The left? The hand that has the glove? Are you referring to the guy who won the Gold Glove this year?....and last year and three other times? I guess he'll pocket another $50,000.
Objectively watch him play - he can't go to his left anymore. He doesn't get to a lot of balls hit up the middle that average shortstops do get to. He doesn't touch them, there is no error. His fielding percentage is artificially high and he wins the gold glove. I like Jeter a lot - a real class guy that is headed to the hall of fame but he is no longer anywhere near the best fielder.
