Our Don of Death is falling down on the job.... I have two kills that I haven't received credit for.... Ron Santo and Norman Wisdom. I never heard of Ron Santo nor Norman Wilson, so they don't count.

I'm sorry to say that Elizabeth Edwards passed away. She sure had a long fight. I know they've come a long way with helping breast cancer victims. Where I worked alone, I knew three woman who were breast cancer survivors. They are getting there. Hopefully the day will come when it will know longer be a killer. RIP Elizabeth TIS http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2010/12/07/eli...T1&iref=BN1 That poor woman seemed to have a tremendous amount of dignity, God rest her soul. It's a shame that she'll always be linked to that creep husband of hers. RIP Elizabeth.

...That poor woman seemed to have a tremendous amount of dignity, God rest her soul. It's a shame that she'll always be linked to that creep husband of hers. RIP Elizabeth. One of the most despicable things ever uttered was when John Edwards proclaimed, during a Barbara Walters interview I believe...that his wife was, after all, "in remission" when he had the affair w/ that other woman Rielle. Even worse than the statement somehow was his flippant tone, as if he should be cut some slack.

Absolutely, Apple. He even managed to turn off the far left with that statement (which until that time was thought to be impossible ).

Just goes to show you that despicable comes in all shapes and sizes.
Poor Elizabeth. On the surface, she seemed to have it all - beauty, a handsome and ambitious husband, a lovely family and a solid marriage. However, she suffered so many agonies, the worst I would imagine would be the loss of her son.
When you're betrayed by your life partner, that's got to be painful, but to have it done via public scandal? Horrible.
She remained a lady throughout her every ordeal - the death of her son, her illness and the death of her marriage. Bless her.

You know I don't get it. I am all for freedom of speech and protest, etc., but where is the line drawn? Remember not too long ago groups were protesting a funerals of gay servicemen/woman? Is there any legal guideline here? It just seems in cases of funerals, the families certainly have a right to grieve in private no? I can't imagine mourning for a loved one with protesters nearby. It just isn't right. TIS

What has Elizabeth Edwards done that they deemed offensive? According to them she offended God via blasphemy. Look here. It is very ugly.

Looks like SC is currently the favorite to win this. Man, last year I was on the same roll, but can't catch a stiff this year...

Anyone gonna do this Dead Pool in 2011? I doubt it. Even though I did pretty good this year.

Oh yea, I remember Blake Edwards. I never was into the Pink Panther. I hear his name and I think tv and then I think Peter Gunn right??????? Didn't they always say at the end "This is a Blake Edwards Production?" I think he had several tv shows, but I'd have to check. TIS

RIP Blake Edwards, director of quite many good movies which earned him a Honorary Oscar. But he's mostly recognized for his PINK PANTHER film series w/ the sublime Peter Sellers... Also some fairly recent classics such as 'S.O.B.', 'Victor/Victoria' to name a few. Also the husband of Julie Andrews. Speaking of the Pink Panther films, Edwards did a wonderful Peter Sellers mini-tribute that airs every now & then on TCM. RIP

Girl, you thought he was a man but he was a muffin....Captain Beefheart passed away. News who? and rip. He was a avant-garde rock singer and later performance artist/painter who was best known for his association with Frank Zappa. His vocal style was a tortured extrapolation/ripoff of Howling Wolf's. Zappa and he were both great friends and occasionally rivals. He sings after the extended Zappa solo on Muffin Man and can be heard doing another HW/John Lee Hooker imitation with scat singing and hollers on I'm gonna Boogiarize you baby
