It's sort of been out there for years and was one of the between-commercial notes when Bravo was showing the film a few years ago (that there were 'real life' differences between the two actors). Actually Caan was directly asked about that fight scene by the host of Inside the Actor's Studio.
Hey Apple, did he ever say why? I think that interview I caught some of and thats when i found out James caan wasnt really Italian and my face fell to the floor in shock! (This was a few years ago, though)
