interesting article, but still there isnt any clue on who was behind it. 2 possibilities. 1 are the other street gangs fighting for control of the montreal underworld, the other one is the calabrian faction acting in revenge of the previeus murders decades ago. So that would be called a Sicillian/Calabrian struggle. One thing is for sure, the Sicillian clan Rizzutos are loosing
I think many are making the mistake that it has to be one possibility or the other. Seems to me like both are likely, to one extent or another.
We've seen through video footage and arrests that street gang members have been behind at least some of the cafe fire bombings. But the strategic way several high profile Rizzuto members have been eliminated suggests that a more "organized" effort is behind much of this. And it may be that other OC elements are using the gangs for some things or it may be that both groups are going after the what's left of the Rizzuto establishment separately, each trying to fill the void.
