In 1982 (who was President? I remember that he was an actor)the unemployment rate was 9.7%. In 1986 the budget deficit was over $221 billion, a record at the time. By the way, in 1984, the inflation rate was 4.1%. What is it now? 2.63%. So, stick that in your teapot!

As far as the Tea Party and/or associated republicans are concerned you don't have to be a far left partisan to at least be somewhat worried when a sitting state Republican Senator sees nothing wrong with dressing up to attend a Southern Night Experience or a would be Tea Party approved candidate in Ohio thinks playing Waffen SS killer in the woods is just good clean fun.
