After doing 20 years in prison, old school gangsters Joey Pungitore, Tore Scafidi, Charles Ianecece, and Faffy Ianarella are either on parole or about to make parole. Will any of these guys replace Ligambi as the boss of the philly mob (assuming Ligambi is convicted).

I might or might not be related to a former Zip boss

The FEDS believe Anthony Nicodemo was the one that hit "Jonny Gongs" and the fucked up thing is his brother "stevie gongs" is under Anthony Nicodemo. WTF only in south philly. That was the rumour for the longest time, but I heard now they believe another guy did the killings, he is currently in prison. The Philly mob has done pretty could in the 15 years getting away with or beating murder raps. There are atleast five murders I can think of that were never solved or they beat.

Does anyone know when the Scarfo capos get out exactly? I can never find that out exactly. I know the merlino guys are all out except Merlino and Borgesi. Borgesi is actually getting released after Merlino and I have heard that the FEDS may throw him right back in the can cause they have an Active case on him with the Deleware County Bookmaker named Moncello...bent Lou. I think they called it Operation Delco Nostra. But on one of George Anastasia's peices he did here IN philly he said that the FEDS would like to get Borgesi on there side but Borgesi has never been that type of guy but suposedly people on the outside haven't heard from him so some are saying he already flipped. But that is highly doubtful.Hes Ligambi's nephew or something so I doubt it but after 11 years in jail and then if he does go right back in...you never know. His family has been waiting for him to get out. I heard the guy suspected of doing the hits is a guy named Damion, I forget his last name, you can find it with a google search, he is currently in prison for a drug charge. I don't know if he is a made member or an associate. The federal prisoner locator site is the website you're looking for to see when guys are getting released, it also tells you what federal prison they are in. Make sure you have the correct spelling of their name though. http://www.bop.gov/iloc2/LocateInmate.jsp

Damion Canalicho, he was Steve Mazzone driver. He is know in prison on drug charges. That's the man, I think he gets out some time in 2011. Wouldn't make sense for a high ranking member to get an underling to do the actual diry work of a hit?

Stevie was not indicted. Charges were dropped against him. You can look up but I am copying some info here.
"Last night, [the New Jersey State Police] completed an additional investigation which has satisfied me that the State will no longer be able to sustain its burden of proving the charges against Steven Cassassanto beyond a reasonable doubt.
"Therefore, I will move to dismiss all charges against Cassassanto. In light of the pending dismissal, the State has no objection to Mr. Peruto and his client being excused from Court on October 16."
Thirty-two minutes later, DiJoseph received a response from Atlantic County Superior Court official Armando Gonzalez, who acknowledged that charges would be dropped: "Provided you have the Dismissal Order submitted to us on or before 10-16-08. Thanks."
According to the civil lawsuit, Peruto had sent "letter after letter" to a New Jersey judge, prosecutor and detective telling them "they got the wrong guy" -- Casasanto.
Peruto said that he even suggested that investigators use a voice-recognition program to compare tape recordings in the probe with Casasanto's taped interview when he applied for a casino dealer's license three years ago.
After no response to his letters, Peruto filed the civil lawsuit.
The lawsuit accused the state Attorney General's Office, Detective David Feldstein, of the New Jersey State Police, and DiJoseph of defamation, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress and other counts, on behalf of Casasanto.
"I'm not dropping the lawsuit," Peruto said.
