$48,000 a year?? It's not much money, quite honestly. It's very difficult, even in the suburbs of NYC, to find a one bedroom apartment for less than $1,200/month. If you're taking home $3,000 per month, what are you left with after rent, food, transportation, and so on?
And that's a ONE bedroom apartment, with no chance that you might have kids to support.
Take your head out of your culo.... we're talking about getting paid that kind of money for CLEANING SUBWAY CARS.
