...People, especially in NY, are sick and tired of the corruption, sick and tired of paying the highest taxes in the country, and sick of our dysfunctional legislature. They just might be sick and tired enough to elect a madman.
And I hope they do. If Elliot Spitzer could proclaim to be like a f...ing steamroller, then I suppose Paladino can manage well enough w/ a baseball (or baseball bat?) and perhaps even manage to stay clear of prostitution.
Whether Paladino is a madman is debatable...but he had a heckofalot better chance of beating out Prince Andrew than did Rick Lazio, who is a nice guy but should really just get out of politics and open a hardware store somewhere.
