I hope you're right SC. I just woke up, saw a news story headline and thought it was today. Whew!!!! I have to depend on someone from NY to tell me the weather in California.
You all will think I'm totally nuts, BUT I didn't think it seemed that hot yesterday. I did run my air for a short time (my place is small and cools quickly) but slept comfortably without it. What can I say I take the heat better than most. I suppose if I end up in Hell, it'll be a piece of cake.

Update: Only will get to 101 (in L.A.) today but expected to break and cool down considerably within the next couple days.
