Saw the preview for Season 2 starting next week and in one of the snippets, Rachel was singing against a girl in glasses - a new cast member (an exchange student). Although I think she oversings at times, the new member (Charice Pempengco) is pretty good and a fellow Filipino. A couple of years ago, she was on Oprah and on the Ellen Degeneres show as a "new find". Here's her clip from Ellen:
