Exactly. Y'all can argue about "soda" and "pop" and "coke" (the latter means cocaine here, by the way ) ... it's obvious that lunch is mid-day. I have yet to figure out the difference between "supper" and "dinner", but I almost always say "dinner" for the third (main) meal of the day.
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol
