Yeah, I agree (if an American's opinion counts in such things ). But don't forget Franz Beckenbauer or Johan Cruyff. They, too, were kind of "boring," like Pelé was, but they sure could play. As far as favorites, mine has always been Giorgio Chinaglia, especially since he's been on the lam . Anyone remember the New York Cosmos?
