Exactly. Right now I am reading David Remnick's biography in which Obama, in office says he doesn't understand why anyone would want this job for two terms, but that he is going to run in 2012 because he thinks the dividends for what he is doing and the "crap" (his word) he is taking will all pay off after 2012, and he doesn't want Mitt Romney (his apparent anticipated opponent) taking credit for it.
