Wait until you slave for hours planting bulbs, and then the squirrels dig them up and eat them. We literally planted 125 iris bulbs in the front of the house. They looked gorgeous the first year. The next year - nothing. And then we noticed all the holes. You think we would have learned, but then we tried tulips and lilies and crocuses. Gone.
