Despite living next to it, I'm not a big beach fan. Sure, the view is nice; but I'm not into picking sand outta my butt for the next month for burning my feet on the blistering sand while entering frigid (below 80F) salty and pissed-in water.
Such a colorful description! I live in California and I am not really a beach person either. It's beautiful, nice to look at, nice to walk along. I may go in the water every 10 years, but I am not a fan of laying on the sand in the sun.
