Radio Host Doc Johnson Calls Tanning Tax 'Racist!' by Mitch Marconi

Fill-in host for Glenn Beck today was Doc Thompson. Thompson has some interesting words for the recent tanning salon tax that Obama signed. It's a 10 percent tax increase for all indoor tanning customers.

Thompson said, "Why would the President of the United States of America -- a man who says he understands racism, a man who has been confronted with racism -- why would he sign such a racist law?"

The idea behind what DOc Thompson is apparently trying to say is "Who goes tanning?" The conclusion made by him is that mostly white people go tanning. Is this a racist bill because it happens to target white women and men who spend more time in the tanning salon?
